Why is there still so much interest in somebody born 2000 years ago and why does Jesus still evoke such strong emotions?

We all want to live happy and fruitful lives, seek to meet our human needs and we all have our own ideas on how to achieve that.

Our need for meaning, our need to Love and be Loved, the need to unburden ourselves of our troubles and find freedom from guilt addiction and fear, to be complete and fulfilled. Jesus shows us the pathway to God, presents us with a challenge to Love, offers freedom and provides us with hope for the future. A life lived in the power and grace of the Holy Spirit both in this life and the life to come.  

When we make a decision to follow Jesus and take him into our hearts we begin to satisfy those deepest human needs
